October Books - 2015 Real Book Challenge

Another month, another 2015 RBC update. I read 15 books in October all of which were real books. You can find details about the Real Book Challange here. And if you by chance you're looking for me on GoodReads, I'm here.

2015 Real Book Challenge Goal: 50
October 2015 Real Books: 15
Number Of Books Still To Read To Hit Goal: GOAL MET!
TOTAL REAL BOOKS READ IN 2015: 71

Best book of the month? Oh gosh there were SO many good books this month. I'm a huge fan of Sarah J. Maas, and while Heir of Fire was a slow start, I loved it by the end. And I loved every word of Queen of Shadows. If you're a fan of fantasy, you've got to check her out! And speaking of fantasy, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo was amazing. Set in the same world as her last series, we meet an entirely new cast of characters and I loved it even more than the Grish series. Colleen Hoover is another favourite author of mine and, though reviews are varied, I loved Confess. Dumplin' by Julie Murphy was also great with lots of laughs and a voice that makes you think. And need I mention After You? It's Jojo Moyes, enough said. And lastly, my most recent guilty pleasure, When A Scot Ties The Knot, by Tessa Dare I did not expect to love it the way I did, with my whole heart, and I'm excited to read the rest of the series this month.

Worst book? A few 3 star books this month and a couple of 2s: All of Me by Kelly Moran, and Sweet Thing by Renee Carlino. All of Me just wasn't a good match for me in terms of writing style and I didn't like the characters much either. In Sweet Thing, the writing style was fine but the characters made me mad and I hated the ending.

The real books I read in October are:
